Manage Salesforce Field-Level Security with AI

FLS is the most tedious part of Salesforce admin work. Every new field requires clicking through each profile's checkbox grid. When you add 10 fields, that's 10 × (number of profiles) checkboxes. SF Agent handles FLS as part of the field deployment.

Manual
5-10 min per field per profile set
With SF Agent
Included with field creation (~0 extra)

The Manual Way

  1. 1Navigate to each field's Field-Level Security settings
  2. 2Check/uncheck Visible and Read-Only for each profile
  3. 3Or navigate to each profile and set FLS from there
  4. 4Repeat for every field on every object you changed
  5. 5Test with different user profiles to verify access
  6. 6Document which profiles have access to which fields

With SF Agent

  1. 1Describe who should see the field when you create it
  2. 2SF Agent sets FLS as part of the field creation
  3. 3Or update FLS on existing fields by describing access
  4. 4Deployed alongside the field — no separate FLS step

Example

You type:

Make the Account.Revenue__c field visible and editable for Sales profiles, visible but read-only for Support profiles, and hidden from all other profiles.

SF Agent generates:
  • FLS: Sales profiles → Visible + Editable
  • FLS: Support profiles → Visible + Read-Only
  • FLS: All other profiles → Hidden
  • Applied to Account.Revenue__c
